Oklahoma No. 1 in AP poll for 1st time in 26 years

(AP) — Oklahoma is No. 1 in The Associated Press Top 25 for the first time since the final two weeks of the 1989-90 season. The Sooners took the top spot in style, getting all 65 first-place votes from the national media panel. They are the first unanimous No. 1 since Kentucky did it for 12 polls last season.

This is the sixth time Oklahoma has been No. 1, moving the Sooners into a tie for 29...
