Traffic stop for welfare check leads to finding missing Montana man

WORLAND — Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers on April 1 helped locate a Montana missing man through a traffic stop.

Trooper Melanie Kress, riding with Field Training Officer Erin Devries, executed a stop of a 2015 Ford F150 where the driver was southbound on U.S. 20 at milepost 127 in Hot Springs County. The driver was driving the pickup on the shoulder with flashers on.
