Something for everyone
TEN SLEEP — There will be something for everyone at the bake sale and yard sale to be held Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Ten Sleep Senior Citizens’ Center.
The event is sponsored by the Ten Sleep Senior Citizens’ Fellowship, with proceeds to benefit the senior center.
Weavers and Spinners dye yarns
GARLAND — The Yellowstone Weavers & Spinners Guild will meet on Saturday, May 10 from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Garland Community Church.
Dye pots and supplies will be provided for dyeing yarns and fibers.

Dancing follows evening dinner
THERMOPOLIS — The Thermopolis Senior Citizens’ Center will hold a dinner-dance on Friday, May 16 starting at 6 p.m.
Roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, bread roll and pie for dessert will be served.
Dancing begins at 7 p.m. to the music of the Knights of Note.

Audubon Leads Field Trip to Cottonwood Canyon
Lovell, WY—Cottonwood Canyon east of Lovell will be explored during a May 17 field trip hosted by the Meadowlark Audubon Society of the Big Horn Basin. The trip is free and open to the public.
Participants should meet at 8:30 a.m. at Mentock Park on Blackburn
Avenue in Cody, or a 9:30 a.m. at the Big Horn Canyon Recreation Area Visitor Center east of Lovell. From those points, participants will
caravan with leader John Osgood to the canyon.
Activity level of this trip is rated moderate. Participants should bring lunch, water and binoculars. Optional are cameras, sunscreen and insect repellent.
Roads on this trip are accessible to all types of vehicles. Osgood expects the hiking portion of the trip to last four to five hours. For more information, contact Osgood at 307-587-9097.
