Saturday evening in Thermopolis, Shoshoni tribe members participate in the Gift of the Waters Pageant which celebrates the historical event of the selling of the Big Horn Hot Springs to the federal government by the Shoshoni and Arapaho tribes with the stipulation that some of the waters remain free to all people forever.
