WYDOT lowers speed limit on US 14 in Big Horn Mountains

 


SHERIDAN (AP) — The Wyoming Department of Transportation is lowering the speed limit on a 10-mile stretch of U.S. 14 in the Big Horn Mountains after a speed study found most drivers were slowing down already.

The Sheridan Press reports that between Dayton and Burgess Junction, from mile post 70 to mile post 80, the speed limit will change from 65 mph to 40 mph.
