Worland considers a park for pooches

Lola, the German shepherd, enjoys a walk at Newell Sargent Park. Hopefully one day Lola and her canine friends will be able to run and play in their own section of the park.

WORLAND – A City of Worland council member brought up the idea of incorporating a dog park in an existing park for the community and their hounds to enjoy at the March 15 Worland City Council meeting.

Council member Lisa Fernandez, Ward 1, asked if it would be possible to put a dog park by the community garden in Newell Sargent Park.
