Worland welcomes three teams to track meet

Worland Warrior Allyson Klingler puts some distance between her and the other competitors during the Jerry Cambell track meet Saturday. The Warriors next track meet will be today here in Worland, field events will start at 2 p.m. and track events at 2:30 p.m.

WORLAND- The Worland Warrior track team will host the D & D Invite for their first and only home meet of the season today.

Competing along with Worland today will be Powell, Rocky Mountain and Thermopolis. This will be the third meet of the year for the Warriors, with the two previous meets in Cody and Buffalo.

The Warriors have started the track season well, senior Emmy Dykman qualified for state in the 200m in the first meet of the year in Cody. The other athletes have just missed out on automatically qualifying like Chance Martello, who in the 1600m at Buffalo just missed AQing by t...
