All-American wrestler and UW wrestling coach to be the guest at Cowboy Joe Tournament

WORLAND-The Green Hills Golf Course will host its leg of the annual Cowboy Joe tournament Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m.

The tournament is part of a series of tournaments put on by the Cowboy Joe Club to raise money to support the over 350 student-athletes playing for the University of Wyoming.

Tournament participants will all receive Nike tournament gifts, there will also be nine hole prizes and Nike team prizes up for grabs amongst the competitors.

Traveling on behalf of the Cowboy Joe Club for the weekend's tournament will be UW All-American wrestler Bryce Meredith, assistant UW wrestling coach McCade Ford and Senior Associate Athletic Director Randy Welniak.

Today before the tournament will be a meet and greet with Meredith and Ford at Goose's starting at 6 p.m. Also at Goose's will be a meal, cash bar and silent auction.

If you're wanting to support UW athletics and would also like to give the Green Hills Golf Course a look make your way out to the Cowboy Joe Tournament this weekend for what's bound to be a terrific time.
