Annetta Mae (McGarvin) Leaverton was born February 3, 1931, in Worland, Wyoming, to Emmett and Grace (Vontz) McGarvin. She went home to be with our Jesus on August 6, 2016. In her 85 years she was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone she met. She was a big sister to her brothers Robert (Arlene), of Austin, CO and Bill (Joan), of Worland, WY.

On May 22, 1949, Corky (Richard) and Annetta were married in Worland. Annetta supported and loved Corky for 61 years. Corky preceded her in death August 15, 2010. What adventures they had, as they worked together, blessing their kids and countless friends.

Motherhood was natural for Annetta as she raised Kathy, Linda (Dan), Mike (Melanie) and John (Beth). Annetta always made her house a home of love, joy and fun. She truly was an amazing mother who loved unconditionally, just as one would expect a Godly woman to do.

As you would also expect, she was a wonderful grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her 4 kids blessed her with 10 grandchildren:

Chad (Michelle) Lemmon and Annetta Bills; David (Jody) Richards, Cassia (BJ) Boender, Kelita (Ben) Johnson, Moriah (Darren) Hagen, and Micah Leaverton, Thomas (Dani), Ethan (Ashley) and Lela (Fred) Eder. All those grandkids blessed her with 16 great and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Mom loved everyone and everyone loved her. Her smile was so contagious. Her eyes would say "you can trust me". We will all miss her and are so glad she is in the arms of Jesus without pain or suffering.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers or gifts, support for The Gallatin Rest Home Auxiliary, 1221 Durston Rd, Bozeman, MT 59715, in their purchase of a new bus.

Interment will take place in the Spring in Worland, WY.
