Wick adjusting to new role in UW's backfield

LARAMIE — Shaun Wick said he feels good, despite a different role.

The University of Wyoming senior running back missed the final eight games of last season due to concussions. He was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA to come back this season, and he figured to join junior Brian Hill as a potent 1-2 duo.

Hill and Wick are fifth and seventh, respectively, on UW’s career rushing list.

But through the Cowboys’ first two games, Hill has 50 carries for 174 yards and three touchdowns. Wick has 10 carries for 22 yards.
