Cowboys, Aztecs should be fresh in each other's minds

LARAMIE – Less than two weeks ago, the University of Wyoming football team won arguably its most important game of the season – a 34-33 victory over then No. 24-ranked San Diego State.

This Saturday, the two teams play again at the same place – War Memorial Stadium – in the Mountain West championship game.

There's a historical perspective here. UW (8-4) hosts its first football game in December since 1902. It also plays in its first-ever MW championship game.

If anything, neither team should need much of a refresher course on what the other likes to do.
