Flooding begins in Fremont, Hot Springs and Park counties

WORLAND — According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation, rapidly rising temperatures began melting winter snow quickly Thursday and early Friday, leading to localized flooding in Fremont, Hot Springs and Park counties, increased streamflows, and causing a short closure of U.S. 287 on the north edge of Lander.
