Meet new hospital Board member Beth Voss

February 24, 2017

WORLAND – Washakie County Commissioners have appointed Beth Voss as the new Washakie Medical Center and Banner Health Hospital Board member. Voss replaces Anna Venable who resigned late last year because she had taken a full time job with the hospital.

Voss is looking forward to her role as hospital board member. "It's going to be a whole new experience, I'm excited about it," Voss said. "I'm excited to see the changes that the hospital is making and how it's going to benefit Washakie County and the surrounding Big Horn Basin area, having a state-of-the-art facility," she added.

Having served on other boards and with a degree in psychology, Voss brings experience and knowledge to the table. "I am currently on the board at the golf course, the Country Club and was on the school board (Washakie County School District No.1) for eight years," Voss said. "I just got my degree in psychology two years ago," she added.

Voss has lived in Washakie County for most of her life, stating that she grew up in Ten Sleep and then moved to Worland where she worked at the courthouse for 10 years before being "lucky" enough to be able to be a stay-at-home mom for her two children who are now ages 23 and 25 and reside in Billings, Montana.
