Showmen showcase talents in Washakie County Fair round robin contests

WORLAND - The annual Washakie County Fair round robin showmanship competition was Friday afternoon at the Washakie County Fairgrounds.

The FFA round robin was won by Brian Rice of Ten Sleep FFA.

Ten Sleep FFA advisor Jarred Bower noted that this year in addition to the regular round robin animals he selected a "mystery animal," for the showmen to show and this year's mystery animal was a dog.

Washakie County 4-H had small and large animal round robin. In the small animal round robin, champion showman in rabbits, poultry, cats and dogs showcased their talents.

Junior reserve champion Victoria Shaffer

Junior grand champion Jacob Gartrell

Intermediate reserve champion Olivia Shaffer

Intermediate grand champion Anja Sheesley

Senior reserve champion Siobhan Myers

Senior grand champion Andrew Drake

In large animal competition, champions in showmanship for horse, beef, sheep, market and dairy goats, swine and alpacas competed.

Intermediate reserve champion Luke Voss

Intermediate grand champion Brooke Wright
