Board hears student feedback on WHS cell phone policy

WORLAND — The first meeting with Worland High School student representatives attending the Washakie County School District No. 1 Board meeting resulted in discussions on cell phones and orange period changes.

Student body representative Dalton Jeffries told the board at Monday’s regular meeting that for the most part students like how the school year has started but added that “a lot of students do have an issue with the cell phone policy, but other ones do see the benefit. I personally do like it, because I do have an issue with my phone.”
