New entryway to Pioneer Square nears completion

Picnic tables, benches, fountain still to come WORLAND - The renovation to the Pioneer Square entryway at 10th and Big Horn is nearing completion for the winter, according to Worland Public Works Superintendent Brian Burky.

The new entryway into Pioneer Square will include a fountain featuring the city's artesian water. Picnic tables and benches will also be added.

WORLAND - The renovation to the Pioneer Square entryway at 10th and Big Horn is nearing completion for the winter, according to Worland Public Works Superintendent Brian Burky.

Burky reported to the city council Tuesday night that they will be installing two picnic tables and two benches once they arrive, likely next week. There will also be a new sign at the corner.

In an interview Wednesday Burky said the picnic tables are square and will seat four. They have a "game top," a checkerboard for people to bring their own pieces and play checkers...
