Corliss Wiley Allison passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2018.

Corliss was born June 14, 1946 to her parents Clyde and Treva Wiley. She graduated from Manderson Hyattville High School in 1964 and the University of Wyoming with a degree in secondary education in 1968.

She taught in Shafter, CA for three years before returning to Wyoming. She taught at Thermopolis High School three more years. She met her husband Tim Allison and they married June 2, 1973.

She went to work for the Big Horn County Clerk then on to the Wyoming Department of Transportation. She loved her job and colleagues.

Corliss is survived by her husband Tim, daughter Katie and son Nathan (Barb) of Basin and Manderson, Brother Lewis (Susan) Wiley, sister JoDee (Jerry) Foss and many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and cousins.

A memorial fund has been established for the local Seat Belt Awareness program. Donations in care of the Seat Belt Awareness program can be sent to the Basin Police Department, P.O. Box 599 Basin, WY 82410.

Corliss will be buried in a private family graveside service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors.
