WORLAND — The Worland City Council approved five citizen requests for four public events and one private event at Tuesday night’s council meeting.

The council approved on an 8-1 vote a request from Tammy Sanchez for a road closure on the 600 block of Seventh Street from Big Horn Avenue to the alley from noon to 8 p.m. for a family graduation party for her son.
