    The Wyoming Game & Fish Department will be hosting a meeting welcoming hunters, landowners and wildlife enthusiasts to come and share their thoughts on the issue of managing mule deer with local Game & Fish representatives.   • Wyoming Sugar sees record yield in Washakie County

    The 2024 Wyoming Sugar sugar beet harvest came in breaking records in Washakie County despite weather challenges. Head Agriculturist Jacob Bullinger reported a yield of about 36 tons per acre, which is what he believes is a record. The county yield exceeds the company's overall yield of 33 tons per acre.     Although the Hot Springs County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees typically approves administrative contracts for renewal in the month of February, they addressed it early this school year at the Nov. 14 meeting and renewed contracts for three administrators.
