Workers from the City of Worland and McClellan and Macqueen Inc., of Worland lay down eight foot-by-eight-foot timber matting to facilitate the removal of a sediment bar in the Big Horn River. The county has been working with the Board of Reclamation to lower the depth of the river during the project. The removal of the sediment bar should reduce ice jam flooding during the winter.
