Choyia V. Thiel, age 62, lost his two year battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, surrounded by his loved ones in Billings, MT. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Thiel and his brother Robby Thiel; he is survived by his mother, Bonnie Thiel, his children, Christopher Thiel and Katie Pfister, a son in law and two grandchildren, and his niece and nephew.

Choyia was an avid outdoorsmen, had a laugh that will never be forgotten, and lived and played hard up until the very end of his time here on earth. His last few months were spent with those closest to him, enjoying hunting, travel, and woodworking. We know that when his moment came he was truly able to say "what a ride", that "he did it all (and didn't get caught)", and what a blessing that is for all of the hearts he touched in his journey.
