Sophomore Casey Wassum drives past a Cody defender in Friday's match in Worland. The Lady Warriors were victorious 5-3 and start the season at 2-0.
WORLAND- The Worland High School girls soccer team defended home turf once again, while also putting on another offensive display as they defeated Cody 5-3 Friday afternoon.
Unlike the 6-0 win against Lander last week, the Lady Warriors were in a fight from start to finish. The Lady Fillies were the first to score with a goal by Hannah Bailey in the 19th minute.
