WORLAND - Worland's first Boy Scouts Day Camp took place Saturday, June 25 at the Washakie County Fairgrounds. The event ran from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to Cloud Peak District Commissioner Tim Barrus, 35 boys from around the area, ages 7 to 10, registered for the camp.

"The camp's theme was 'Cub Scout Investigators.' The boys participated in activities such as BB guns, archery, wrist rockets, a water activity and fingerprinting," Barrus said.

"We had older scouts helping out and 4-H provided and taught the boys how to use BB guns," he said.
