WORLAND – Former City of Worland Sonny Shearer will be remembered as a man passionate about the City of Worland, someone who always played an active role in the community and someone who loved his family.

Shearer, who died July 1 at the age of 74, moved to Worland in 1948 with his family. It wasn’t until later in life that he began his life of public service.
