Andrea Jean Apland

October 12, 2016

Andrea Jean Apland, 34, passed away quietly at the Hot Springs Memorial Hospital on October 10, 2016. She is now free from her earthly pains and limitations.

Andrea was born on April 15, 1982 in Worland to Rick and Cheryl (Miller) Apland. She grew up in Worland, graduating with the class of 2001. Following graduation, Andrea moved to Thermopolis as a resident of Big Horn Enterprises.

Andrea was a gentle spirit who could make others smile, share her love without words and made others feel better just by being around her. She had a great love for animals, especially cats and dogs. She enjoyed getting to see and pet puppies that were brought to her. She looked forward to going for walks in the neighborhood and listening to birds along the way. She loved to go for "bumpy" rides. If you went on a dirt road in the mountains or hit a dip going a little fast, she would just giggle and giggle until everyone was laughing. Christmas was her favorite holiday, the smells, crinkling of paper, the gathering of friends and family, and of course the special gifts she would receive. Spending time with family was very important to her. She loved getting to spend special time with her grandparents.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Apland, Uncle Terry Apland and best friend and roommate, Missy Willard.

Andrea is survived by her parents, Rick and Cheryl of Worland, one brother Joel (Rachel Porter) of Casper, grandparents, Patricia Apland, Gene and Lorraine Miller, Uncles and Aunts, Scott and Jan Apland, David and Sally Miller and cousins, Ryan Apland, Varick, Nathan and Ashley Apland, Matthew, Mark Miller and Lissy Hughes. Survivors also include the many caregivers who have been a part of Andrea's life, especially those at Big Horn Enterprises.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, October 14, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Evangelical Church with Pastor Ralph Partelow officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held 7:30 to 8:30 pm Thursday, October 13 at the Bryant Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Big Horn Enterprises in care of Bryant Funeral Home PO Box 524. Worland, WY 82401. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
