November 4, 2016

WORLAND — The annual Worland Veterans Day program will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 at the Worland Middle School Auditorium.

Co-director Beth Magstadt said the program is put on every year by the fourth graders from all three Worland elementary schools. She is the teacher for East and West Side and Amy Wright is the teacher for South Side.

She said the fourth graders will perform popular songs from a variety of eras including War of 1812, Civil War, World War I and II and the Vietnam War. They will also perform some patriotic songs to honor veterans in the audience.

Magstadt said there will be an all-school performance earlier in the day at 1:30 p.m. She said members of the public unable to attend the evening performance may attend the afternoon concert.

The South Side performers will also do a smaller performance at the Worland Senior Center on Tuesday during lunch, Magstadt said.

Ten Sleep

Ten Sleep will have a Veterans Day concert at 10 a.m. on Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, with music from the high school choir and the community choir. A lunch for veterans will follow the performance.
