Wyoming sets season-best field goal mark in ending 2-game losing streak

LARAMIE – University of Wyoming junior Liv Roberts wasn't about to let the Cowgirls lose three consecutive games.

And she had a lot of help in making sure the UW's first losing streak of the season was a short one.

Roberts and the Cowgirls' offense torched the San Diego State defense from inside and out for an 80-67 victory before a crowd of 2,250 fans at the Arena-Auditorium.

UW (16-5 overall, 8-2 Mountain West) remains one game behind Colorado State for first place in the league. San Diego State (8-12, 3-6) lost for the third-straight time.
