Debbie Stresewski, 62, of Hyattville, passed away unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm on February 21, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary West. She is survived by her best friend and beloved companion, Mike O’Brien, four sisters and one brother, other relatives and many friends. Prior to moving to Wyoming from Maryland, Debbie enjoyed many years of amateur, competitive trap shooting. She traveled the country competing and winning many trap shooting awards and trophies. One of Debbie’s favorite hobbies was sewing. She was an accomplished seamstress, sewing everything from minor repairs to wedding gowns. She taught herself how to quilt after asking many questions of local quilters and attending workshops and retreats. Her first quilt of many beautiful quilts were made in Wyoming. Debbie loved touring the mountains with Mike in their “side by side”, camping, relaxing in the yard, and just enjoying life with the “three kids” - Mavis, Bailey and Tug. Her kind and sweet soul soul lives on through the many fortunate organ donor recipients. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held in Hyattville at a later date.
