Championship defense shines in semifinal victory

Warriors overcome slow start to rout Lyman 51-30; title game tips off after 3A girls game

CASPER - The Worland Warriors need only one more box to check in their title defense checklist and this championship defense will be a success.

The Warriors will play in their third-straight 3A boys state championship game and will need to get by the Riverton Wolverines to keep the state championship trophy in Worland.

Getting to the title game the Warriors used what has fueled them throughout their run incredible run, their defense. Worland's stingy defense made a rough go of things for the Lyman Eagles as they won 51-30 during the 3A semifinals.
