Sidewalk improvement project restarts in Worland

15th Street/Big Horn Avenue intersection closure begins next week

WORLAND — A three-week closure of Worland’s busiest intersection is scheduled to begin Monday, March 27, to allow the remaining portion of a $1.13 million Wyoming Department of Transportation sidewalk improvement project to be completed.

Closure of the intersection at 15th Street and Big Horn Avenue will allow replacement of sidewalk corners, sidewalk, curb and gutter, double gutter and electrical work, according to WYDOT Resident Engineer Dan McAfee of Worland.

During the intersection improvements, a signed detour will be in place to route traffic around the intersection on 14th and 17...
