Theresa Faye Andrews Baker died Sunday, June 11, 2017 in Casper, Wyoming after having lived at Poplar Living Center for the past three years. Faye was born April 16, 1936 in Lovell, Wyoming, the daughter of Edwin France and Ellene Annetta (Johnson) Andrews. She was the oldest of eight children. As a young child, her parents homesteaded a farm 6 miles northwest of Deaver, Wyoming. Faye attended school in Deaver until she was 15 years old, when she went to live with her Aunt and Uncle in Powell. It was here she graduated from Powell High School.

Faye was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions throughout her life. She married Richard Raymond Baker on August 30, 1952 in Deaver. They shared nearly 65 years together and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple on April 23, 1968. They were blessed with seven children: Robin Lane, Sandra Joyce, Diane Faye, Janice Anne, Richard Randall, Anita Beth and Raymond Albert. Richard worked in the oil fields around Wyoming thus moving the family numerous times each year.

In 1965 they moved to Salt Lake City where they lived until 1971 when they returned to Wyoming, living in Byron. They moved to Worland in 1975 where they made their home until her health failed her in 2014. Richard joined her in the Poplar Living Center a few months later. Faye was a good mother and grandmother, having nearly all of her 17 grandchildren live in her home at some time during the years.

Through the years she babysat over 130 children. She loved to cook, and made great suckers that she sold for a number of years. She also canned much of their bounteous garden produce she and Richard grew each summer. She sewed many of the clothes that she and her children wore, and even made Richard’s white shirts so that they would fit him the way he wanted them to.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Burdette Andrews, Kenneth Andrews, Edwin George Andrews, Ervin Andrews, Helen Andrews; five children, Sandra, Diane, Janice, Anita, Randy and two grandchildren.

Faye is survived by her husband, Richard, sons, Robin Baker of Worland, Raymond Baker of Casper, brother, Ralph Andrews of Puyallup, Washington, sister, Shirley Vee Zane of Heber City, Utah, 15 grandchildren and about 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Worland with burial in the Lovell Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
