Worland man gets prison sentence for shooting

WORLAND – A Worland man was sentenced to 6-12 years in the Wyoming State Prison system on Wednesday for his involvement in a shooting during a failed robbery attempt in September 2016.

In March, Angel L. Ramos, 18, of Worland, previously of Las Vegas, Nevada, pleaded guilty to three charges including aggravated burglary, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. The victim, Gilbert D. Garcia, 23, of Worland, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance (heroin).
