CHEYENNE — The Wyoming State Bar is pleased to announce that Weston T. Graham, an attorney from Sheridan, Wyoming, has been elected president-elect of its organization and will serve as president in 2018-2019.

The 2017/2018 election of officers was held according to Article II, Section 1 and Article VI of the Bylaws of the Wyoming State Bar. The results of the election were announced last week in Cheyenne, at the Bar’s Annual Business Meeting.  

Graham succeeds Robert C. Jarosh of Cheyenne, who is now the president of the Bar. Graham previously served as the Wyoming State Bar Commissioner representing the Fourth Judicial District (Buffalo and Sheridan counties) from 2011 – 2014. In 2014, he was elected as Treasurer of the Bar and has served in that capacity ever since.

Graham is the managing partner of his own law firm, Barney & Graham, LLC, with his wife and business partner, Brooke M. Barney. He is licensed to practice law in Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota, and currently practices primarily in the areas of workers’ compensation, oil and gas and business law. 

Graham is originally from Basin, where his father Timothy was the local veterinarian for over 25 years and his mother Sherry was a paraprofessional in the local school system. 

He attended the University of Wyoming for both undergraduate and law school, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005 majoring in zoology and physiology and his Juris Doctorate degree in 2008. 

In his capacity as president-elect, Graham will serve as a member-at-large of the Board of Commissioners and a member of the Executive Committee.  He will temporarily perform duties of the president in the event of temporary absence or disability of the president.

Graham will serve the next term as President of the Wyoming State Bar (2018-2019).
