WORLAND — A precipitation record was broken Friday, Sept. 15 when .55 inches of rain fell in Worland.
The more than half-inch of rain, broke the previous record of .41 set in 1960.
According to the National Weather Service, Worland has 1.02 inches of rain for September, above the monthly average of .42 inches. For the year, Worland has 6.52 inches of precipitation, up .65 inches from the norm...
