Wyoming seeks dismissal of state rent lawsuit

CHEYENNE (AP) — Wyoming officials are asking a judge to dismiss a lawsuit over office space the state is renting out while the state Capitol is being renovated.

The Worland-based Voss Family Limited Partnership claims the state fell more than $930,000 behind on rent payments. Since 2015, the partnership has been leasing out part of a Cheyenne building for temporary office space for the secretary of state, state auditor and state treasurer.
