Local groups again offer Christmas tree recycling

WORLAND — The 23rd annual Christmas tree recycling effort sponsored by the Washakie County Conservation District will be taking place on Jan. 6, 2018. Individuals and volunteers from the Worland Rotary Club, U.S. Department of Agriculture Service Center, Washakie County Conservation District, Chief Washakie FFA, Worland Recycles and the Ten Sleep Sage Stompers 4-H Club will be gathering Christmas trees which will be chipped into wood mulch.

Residents within the town limits of Worland and Ten Sleep should have their undecorated trees to the alley by 8 a.m. on Jan. 6. Worland residents wish...
