Will third time be the charm?

Daylight saving time bill pre-filed for upcoming legislative session

WORLAND - The time issue is coming back to the Wyoming Legislature for the third straight year.

Rep. Dan Laursen (R-Powell) has pre-filed House Bill 0045 – Mountain daylight time. The bill is similar to last year's bill that failed to advance out of committee. In 2016, during a budget session as 2018 is, the bill failed to get introduced with non-budgetary bills requiring two-thirds vote for introduction.

Last year's bill and this year's bill would keep Wyoming in daylight saving time and not revert to standard time from November through February.
