Lady Warriors put the defensive clamps to the Lady Wolverines in 37-20 victory

WORLAND - The offense is still a work in progress but the Worland Lady Warriors defense is back on track. Worland defeated the Riverton Lady Wolverines 37-20 Friday night at Worland High School in a matchup between the two 3A girls basketball programs.

Coming off a disappointing defeat to Powell last Saturday in which their defense was not up to their usual high standards, the Lady Warriors wanted to fix that against the Lady Wolverines, which they did so well, shutting out Riverton in the first quarter, then only allowing them to score four points for the half.
