WHS science students compete with boats

Dillon Wolf, after falling out of his cardboard and duct tape boat improvises after being unable to get back in without flipping over to get across the pool at the Worland Aquatic Center during the float your boat event Tuesday afternoon.

WORLAND — Worland High School students from the six physical science classes will be testing out their cardboard and duct tape boats they have made for an assessment involving engineering, Archimedes principle, and Newton’s Laws of Motion.

Winners of the speed competition was the team of Isaac Goncalves, Elijah Ramirez and Raylee Salinas.
