Local Science Olympians place at state

WORLAND — The Worland High School Science Olympiad teams competed at the state competition last weekend at Casper College. Coach Karen Grzybowski said this year the school had two teams, one a 15-member team and the other eight members with 23 students total competing.

WORLAND — The Worland High School Science Olympiad teams competed at the state competition last weekend at Casper College.

Coach Karen Grzybowski said this year the school had two teams, one a 15-member team and the other eight members with 23 students total competing.

PLACERS

The students medaled in eight events with three second-place finishes and five third-place finishes. 

Silver medals were awarded to:

•Jaden Mickelson and Jade Hefenieder in optics.

•Jonathan Anderson and Braydon Bond in hovercraft.

•Emily Brown in rocks and minerals.
