Worland school board not rushing to a decision

Washakie County School District No. 1 hears from parent opposed to arming staff

WORLAND — After hearing from both sides regarding allowing armed staff in the schools, the Worland school board opted Monday to seek input from staff and parents, as well as consider conducting a safety audit of the district facilities.

Last month Sarah and Clint Lungren presented a letter to the board, which Chairman Don Bryant said was a petition on behalf of the Lungrens and several other district patrons.
