Worland Track has a strong showing in rain-soaked 3A East regional meet

Caballero, Garza and Harman earn regional championships

DOUGLAS - The rain at the 3A East regional meet in Douglas did not slow the Worland High School track and field team. Instead, the Warriors and Lady Warriors battled through the poor weather and brought home some medals and hardware.

As a team, the Warriors finished third and were half a point shy of second-place Torrington, three Worland athletes earned individual championships and a total of 25 WHS athletes will compete at the 3A State meet in Casper starting on Thursday.
