WPLI to review public comments on wilderness areas

WORLAND -Washakie County’s Wyoming Public Lands Initiative (WPLI) Advisory Committee presented the public with their recommendations for the county’s Wilderness Study Areas (WSAs), last month, and the public comment period officially came to an end July 16.

Tonight, the group will consider all comments before submitting final recommendations to the county commission for approval. The group will meet at the Washakie County Fairgrounds at 6 p.m.
