Lady Warriors place fifth at 3A State swimming meet

Warren defends 200-yard IM title and named athlete of the year

WORLAND - While their numbers were few the Worland Lady Warriors made their presence felt at the 3A State girls swimming meet in Laramie on Friday and Saturday. Worland finished fifth as a team, scoring 137 points with only seven athletes, and had two All-State selections, Kyra Klinghagen and Juli Warren.

Of the 13 teams competing in Laramie over the weekend, only six were able to crack triple-digit scoring, and Worland also joined Buffalo, Lander and Lyman as the only schools to have multiple All-State selections.
