November 13, 2018

WORLAND – The Little Free Library located on the Big Horn Avenue/ North ninth side of Pioneer Square in Worland will be dedicated this evening at 5:15 p.m. in a short ceremony by Friends of the Worland Library president Kathi Morrison, Worland Mayor Jim Gill and Worland City Council members.

“The Little Free Library will be dedicated to the community and to literacy awareness,” Morrison said. She added that the Little Free Library helps put a book into everyone’s hand and that since the little library was placed Oct. 17, it has seen much use and is full of new or essentially new books.

During the dedication Morrison will speak on literacy awareness and the hopes of adding more Little Free Libraries in parks throughout the town. She will also explain the meaning behind the white ribbon currently on the little library.
