Powell team wins ice fishing derby; Ten Sleep team fourth

The annual Meeteetse Ice Fishing Derby was held last weekend with 90 teams and 29 in the "small fry" division. Here, hearty ice fishermen, most with ice fishing huts, are scattered around the Upper Sunshine Reservoir for Saturday's portion of the tournament. Sunday was at the lower reservoir.
MEETEETSE - Ninety teams braved the cold Saturday and Sunday on the Sunshine Reservoirs for the annual Meeteetse Ice Fishing Derby with a Powell team bringing home top prize.
Teams could be one, two or three members. They had to submit a total of six fish caught any time during the two-day derby. Saturday fishing was in the upper reservoir and Sunday was in the Lower Sunshine.
