District 1 cuts three more positions through attrition

WORLAND — Over the past three years the Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees has had to trim the budget and in order to do that have eliminated 17 certified staff positions throughout the district.

WORLAND — Over the past three years the Washakie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees has had to trim the budget and in order to do that have eliminated 17 certified staff positions throughout the district.

This year Business Manager Jack Stott said the district cut seven positions each of the past two years through attrition (not filling a vacancy following a resignation or retirement).
