Fifteenmile horses settle in at Rock Springs facility

Wild horses from the Fifteenmile Herd Management Area get acclimated to their new surroundings at the Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility.

ROCK SPRINGS - The horses gathered last month in the Bureau of Land Management's Fifteenmile Herd Management Area are adjusting well to their new home at the Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility.

There were 607 ultimately gathered during the operation Oct. 18- 25 with some returned back to the management area, some headed to the honor farm and 493 settling in at the holding facility.
