Ten Sleep Parade of Lights this Saturday

WORLAND – The Ten Sleep Parade of Lights will kick off this Saturday at 6 p.m. in downtown Ten Sleep.

The theme for this year’s Parade of Lights is “Tis the Season to be Freezin’” and there will be at least eight floats in the parade, which is sponsored by the Ten Sleep/Hyattville Lions Club.

The parade will run down main street and will feature burn barrels up and down the sidewalks to help keep viewers warm during the festivities. The announcers booth being placed in front of the Sleepy Coyote.

Another way to keep warm will be with hot chocolate that will be free during the parade.

After the parade, Santa will be at Dirty Sally’s restaurant, where there will also be chili available for purchase.

There will also be a live nativity scene on display in the park after the parade, put on by the Assembly of God church.

Floats that are in the parade should line up at 5:30 p.m. at the Ten Sleep Rodeo Grounds, any floats that want to be in the parade can call Becky Cooper at 307-366-2748.
