Missing female located safely in Seattle, Washington, Thursday morning.

On Sunday, February 23, 2020, WHP troopers located Ms. Lampus’s vehicle abandoned along Interstate 80 east of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Troopers and other law enforcement agencies searched the area but were unable to locate Ms. Lampus. The Wyoming Highway Patrol partnered with the Division of Criminal Investigation on the incident to look for any clues on her disappearance.
On Tuesday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation partnered with other law enforcement agencies to investigate the missing person.
Thursday morning agencies involved were notified that Ms. Lampus was found safe and alive in Seattle, Washington.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol would like to thank all agencies who assisted in the investigation and the Laramie County community for their support and assistance during this harrowing family event. The community support directly impacted this nationwide search.
